Queen Frontman Adam Lambert Wears Pink To Promote 'The Original High;' Calls Nile Rodgers And Pharrell Williams 'Geniuses'

Adam Lambert didn't wear his bikini to promote "The Original High" in Miami on July 15 but fans didn't seem to care.

The Queen frontman was all over Miami doing radio and TV interviews as well as a live show at the Miami Magazine's Splashion in The Fillmore.

Before belting out a song, however, Adam Lamber was apologetic, "Sorry I didn't wear a bikini."

"Looking very Adam Lambert in an outrageous pink suit, the American Idol alum performed a 3-song set that included 'The Original High' and 'Ghost Town,' from the new album, and the old hit 'Whataya Want From Me,'" Direct Lyrics reported.

Meanwhile, the Queen frontman was profuse with praise for Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

"While we were on the American Idol tour I was running around studios trying to put my album together, my first album - my head was spinning," he told Music News. "I worked with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell - those guys, they're geniuses. I feel lucky I got to work with them. It was a growing process as well, as I was learning what my sound was."

In May, Adam Lambert dropped "Ghost Town," which is another cut from his album "The Original High."

The Queen frontman told MTV, per Entertainment Weekly, "I don't think I've ever been in more of an extreme close-up in my entire life so you, the viewer, get to be right up in my face and see what I'm going through. It was a little scary. I don't think I've ever felt that vulnerable on camera before."

MTV News took note of the lyrics of "Underground" which reads, "When you go, when you go, it's like I put my life on the line, so what?/When you go, when you go, I'm trippin' but I'm pretending I'm fine, so don't."

The article pointed out that the beat of Adam Lambert's "Underground," "pulsates and builds over a moody piano."
