2AM's Changmin Supports Band Mate Jo Kwon In 'Chess' Musical

Even though the 2AM members have moved to different agencies, the balladeer bond between them remains strong with Changmin supporting band mate Jo Kwon's latest musical.

Jo Kwon is currently starring in Chess, a Korean adaptation of a play about the chess grandmaster Anatoly Karpov.

Changmin was spotted taking a snapshot with Jo Kwon in what looks to be the backstage set of the musical, which is currently running shows at the Sejong Center Grand Theater in Gwanghwamun in central Seoul.

Jo Kwon uploaded their picture together on his Instagram account on July 15.

Fans that saw Changmin and Jo Kwon's friendly photo cheered on the pair's friendship and also expressed their longing for a new 2AM comeback.

"Forever 2AM!," "Handsome boys," "2AM comeback please!" commented fans on Instagram.

Aside from Changmin, other celebrities and close friends have been visiting Jo Kwon to give him encouragement.

Jo Kwon has also received heartwarming support from his fan club, which made a large rice donation in honor of the singer

2AM members have been focusing on their individual activities after splintering into different agencies earlier this year.

Seulong has released his first solo album under Sidus HQ while Jinwoon has signed on with Mystic Entertainment to pursue acting and singing.
