15 Popular K-Pop Groups Who Aren't Making Summer 2015 Comebacks [POLL]

With so many K-pop comebacks occurring this summer (June-August), it's hard to imagine that any Korean act is willing to sit out the rush but that's exactly what some are doing. Here are 15 Korean acts that haven't announced any plans to join the summer K-pop comeback crush.

1. 2NE1 - The YG Entertainment quintet has been on hiatus due to personal issues and leader CL's impending move into the English language music market. 2NE1 last made a comeback in February 2014, with the album "Crush."

2. JYJ - Although member Kim Jaejoong enlisted in the army earlier this year, they could have released a pre-recorded album or song. Instead, JYJ didn't release any music before his departure. The trio's last Korean album was 2014's "Just Us."

3. After School - After School released "Best" in Japan in March, but the girl group has been mostly absent from Korea (with the exception of subgroup Orange Caramel.) The girl group competition is fierce this summer, but After School is sitting it out.

4. Boyfriend - Boyfriend didn't join the summer comebacks, but did release "Boyfriend in Wonderland" in March, with the title track "Bounce" so beat all of the competition.

5. AKMU - The brother-sister duo last released their debut album "Play" in 2014, and are due for a new release. However, YG Entertainment has focused a lot of attention on Big Bang's "MADE" comeback and said that no other YG acts will release music until Big Bang finishes their promotions.

6. Red Velvet - SM Entertainment's rookie group released the mini album "Ice Cream Cake" in March to much acclaim. Red Velvet will appear at KCON USA in Los Angeles in July.

7. WINNER - Winner debuted in August 2014 with the album "2014 S/S," and their comeback has been delayed. YG Entertainment's CEO said that Winner is working to comeback with good music, delaying the album release process.

8. f(x) - SM Entertainment's girl group will reportedly make a comeback later this year. Member Sulli allegedly left the group in June.

9. CNBLUE - The idol band last made a comeback in Korea in 2014 with "Can't Stop." Leader Yonghwa released a solo album "One Fine Day" in January, and the group released "White" in Japan in April. There are no announcements of a Korean comeback.

10. EXID - After rising to fame in 2014 with "Up & Down," EXID beat the summer competition rush by making a comeback in April with "Ah Yeah."

11. FTISLAND - The original K-pop idol band released the album "I Will" in March and "5...Go" in Japan in May, but did not join the summer crush.

12. 4Minute - The quintet released "Crazy" in February but have remained out of the limelight for most of 2015. Rapper HyunA also has no plans to join the summer competition.

13. Epik High - After holding their first North American tour earlier this year, Epik High announced no plans to release any new music. The trio released "Showbox" at the end of last year.

14. 2AM - The vocal quartet is officially still together despite the four members being signed with different agencies, but it is unknown whether the hiatus will be long lasting.

15. VIXX - The idol group known for intense concepts released "Error" in 2014, but has made no new plans. They will perform at KCON NY in August.

Which of these artists would you want to see make a comeback this summer?
