TVXQ Release 'Rise As One' And 'Champagne' Music Videos As Duo Takes Time Off To Complete Mandatory Military Service

It will be at least two years until TVXQ returns to the K-pop scene, but the duo gifted fans with new music videos to prepare for the hiatus.

SM Entertainment's duo TVXQ released the new album "Rise As God" on July 20 as a special present to fans before leader U-KNOW Yunho enlists in the Korean army. While the album had ten songs, the pair released music videos for "Champagne" and "Rise As One."

They are the final music videos from the group before both members of TVXQ enlist in the Korean military in 2015.

While the two music videos were released as TVXQ's final music videos prior to a promised comeback in 2017, the pair are not seen together at all.

"Champagne" is a solo song by Yunho, and he starred alone in the music video. "Champagne" is an upbeat dance song.

"Rise As One" was sung by Changmin (also known as Max,) but he only appears in the music video for a few moments. "Rise As One" is an ode to TVXQ, and features two young boys as representing the duo.

Yunho's enlistment date is July 21, and SM Entertainment revealed that Changmin plans to enlist before the end of 2015. It is expected that the pair returns to the Korean music scene in 2017 after completing their military service.

Along with "Champagne" and "Rise As One," eight other songs including "Top of the World," "Vertigo," and "Everyday It Rains" were included on TVXQ's special "Rise As God" album.

Changmin is in the midst of filming the drama, "Scholar Who Walks The Night," and Yunho's final project was the web drama, "I Order You."

TVXQ debuted as a five member act in 2003. Three members left in 2009, and the remaining two continued on as a duo. The group's name means "Rising Gods of the East."
