Tiny-G Member Dohee Announces Role In New TV Drama 'Mom'

Tiny-G member Dohee will be appearing in a new weekend drama titled Mom on the South Korean network MBC, according to Koreaboo.

Dohee's agency, GNG Production, confirmed the new role for the idol-actress, which will be follow-up to her stint as a supporting character in the hit 2014 drama Cantabile Tomorrow.

"Dohee was cast for MBC's new weekend drama, 'Mom.' She attended a script reading for the drama today," the agency reportedly said.

Mom is a dark story about a mother that turns on her children after they plot to take her inheritance at all costs. Dohee will play as a love interest to Gong Soon's character, Kang Jae, the second son in the drama.

Dohee's new drama role follows the announcement last year that Tiny-G will be on indefinite hiatus in South Korea as Dohee focuses on acting.

The two other Tiny-G members, Mint and J-Min, have been promoting in Thailand under the subunit name of Tiny-G M. In late 2014, they released a song "The Only One" featuring Natthew.

In fact, Tiny-G M seem to be thriving in Thailand despite only speaking a little of the language, and have been releasing new songs, performing on shows and participating in variety programs.
