TVXQ's Yunho Officially Enlists In The Military

TVXQ member Yunho has entered active duty on July 21, reports Koreaboo, and admitted into a camp to begin his five-week basic military training.

Yunho's admission time and place were not revealed by SM Entertainment due to the wishes of the idol to make the occasion low-key.

Yunho has spent the past month devoting time to and leaving farewell memories for fans prior to his two-year service.

On July 20, TVXQ dropped two so-called farewell songs, the upbeat track "Champagne" and the nostalgic "Rise As One."

These two songs were packaged as part of the TVXQ special Rise As God album together with eight other songs.

The week before, TVXQ held an encore show concert on July 13 and 14 at the Seoul Olympics Gymnastics Stadium.

The actor-idol also reportedly finished filming his parts for the SBS Plus web drama I Order You, episodes of which will be aired while the idol is serving in the military.

Yunho's TVXQ partner Changmin is scheduled to enlist as well in the military later this year.

Fans had been giving their heartfelt farewells to Yunho, but the idol has promised that TVXQ will definitely make a comeback in 2017 when both members have already finished their military service.
