Super Junior’s ‘Devil’ Receives Praise From Billboard As Group’s ‘Best Single In Years’

Super Junior's "Devil" is a big hit among fans of the group, and it seems Billboard agrees.

On July 17, Billboard's K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin published an articled titled "Super Junior Show Off a Slick & Sexy Side in 'Devil' Video" and praised "Devil" as "Super Junior's best single since 2011's "Mr. Simple." He also described the track as "a slick and sexy pop track that feels not only appropriate for the veteran boy band, but like an upgraded, cooler version of the band."

In addition to receiving Billboard's praise, "Devil" topped China Baidu's King weekly chart soon after its release. Other songs off the group's latest album, "Alright," "Don't Wake Me Up," and "Simply Beautiful," also ranked on the chart's top 10 and displayed the group's popularity in China. The music video dominated YinYueTai's V chart as well.

Super Junior will heat up the stage again this weekend for SMTOWN Live Concert, which will be held from July 25 to July 26 at Kyocera Dome in Osaka.
