Big Bang Win MTV IGGY's International Song Of the Summer 2015 For 'Bang Bang Bang'

Big Bang continues to show their dominance over the music scene the as the winners of MTV IGGY's International Song of the Summer 2015.

Big Bang was nominated as one of ten acts up for the title with their hit "Bang Bang Bang." The song was released June 1 as part of the group's ongoing MADE Series, where they plan to unveil 2 tracks from their upcoming full length album on the first of each month all summer long. 

Other nominees included Big Bang's label mate CL and her collaboration track with Diplo, RiFF RAFF, and OG Maco titled "Doctor Pepper," Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick Lamar, Rhianna's "Bitch Better Have My Money," Omi's "Cheerleader," Phoebe Ryan's "Home," Shamir's "Call It Off," Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta," C-Kan's "My Everything," and DJ Snake's collaboration with Major Lazer and MØ titled "Lean On." Artists up for the award range from all parts of the world including Mexico, Columbia, Jamaica, different parts of the United States, and, of course, South Korea.

Together Big Bang and CL earned about 80 percent of the total votes. In the end, however, Big Bang came out on top when the poll closed on July 20 at 11AM EST with a little over 50 percent of the votes. CL's "Doctor Pepper" came in second with 29.53%

With more Korean artists up for international awards, we're curious to see where else fans will show their devotion to their favorite acts.
