2NE1's Minzy In Awe Of Taylor Hatala-Larsen Thompson 'I Am The Best' Dance Cover

"Killed it!"

That's the reaction of 2NE1 member Minzy to the new "I Am The Best" dance cover choreographed by Janelle Ginestra and performed by the child dancing sensation Taylor Hatala.

On July 20, the 11-year-old girl dancer uploaded a video featuring friend Larsen Thompson where both girls grooved to a mash-up of Beyonce's "Run The World" and 2NE1's "I Am The Best."

Minzy re-posted the clip of the "I Am The Best" portion of the dance for her 1.4 million Instagram followers.

"Have you seen this yet? If you haven't... Check it out! Who run the world? Them," said an impressed Minzy to her more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram.

Below is the full video including the initial "Run The World" choreography.

The glowing recommendation from Minzy has helped boost the dance video into viral status, garnering more than 1 million likes on YouTube just two days since its upload.

"Minzy brought me here! Loved it!" "

Despite the technical brilliance of the dance, there has been criticism to the production aspects of it.

The girl dancers can be seen wearing traditional Chinese dress while dancing to a song from a Korean girl group, which has led to claims of cultural insensitivity among the video creators.

"The girls killed this dance. However I wish they would've thought a little bit more carefully on the outfits during 2NE1's 'I Am The Best' segment. I understand they wanted to match up the attire to an Asian song, but they should've done some research on what language 'I Am The Best' was in. This only fuels more ignorance and cultural insensitivity," said YouTube user jnc1835.
