Henry Cavill's name has been linked to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel and when the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor got an opportunity to deny the rumor to E! News, he played coy instead!

During the promo run for "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer sat down with E! to talk about the movie and other issues.

The reporter then asked the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Henry Cavill whether there's any truth to the rumor that he's going to play the main baddie in "Fifty Shades Darker."

Henry Cavill did nothing to quell the rumors when he answered, "Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now."

It was previously reported that "Batman V Superman" actor Henry Cavill will reportedly play Jack Hyde as he joins Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in "Fifty Shades Darker," the sequel to the blockbuster adaptation of E.L. James' novels.

Based on the book, the character of Gina Carano's ex is going to be the boss of Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson.

"Jack Hyde is described as a man with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart," said Movie News Guide. "[For] the past few months, there have been speculations on who will play the role of Steele's boss who will eventually become more than just an editor."

As the title suggests, said Melty, the "Fifty Shades of Darker," would be darker than the first.

"Fifty Shades Darker will also see Christian Grey's first rival introduced, fellow businessman Jack Hyde," it said. "Hiring Ana in the hope of seducing her, Hyde is a suspicious character, ruthless in getting what he wants and unafraid of using underhand tactics like blackmail in order to get it (aww, and they say romance is dead)."

But Melty said that Henry Cavill might not even be available to join "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel as he will be on the road promoting "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" and "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."
