"Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill plays it coy when confronted with the question of whether he will be appearing in the sequel of "Fifty Shades of Grey", saying that he can't reveal anything at the moment, a report on DailyMail says.

The rumor mill is churning again and as expected from a highly anticipated film franchise, claims about the upcoming sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey" just about started to surface, particularly that which involves the current Superman.

According to the rumors, Cavill will be appearing in "Fifty Shades Darker," the second installment in the franchise, but the actor, when asked about it neither denied nor confirmed the report.

So, is it sexy time for Superman?

During a promotional interview for his latest project "Man From U.N.C.L.E." with E! Online, Cavill was asked whether he could be appearing in "Fifty Shades Darker" or not, but instead of clarifying matters, his response just added to the puzzle.

"Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now," Cavill tells E!

It looks like Superman is playing it coy. He didn't say yes, but neither is he saying no.

On the one hand, though an equally hunky star like Cavill could possibly be starring in the film adaptation of the E.L. James trilogy novel, he will not be replacing Jamie Dornan who is the current Christian Grey, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Instead of playing the lead male, rumor has it that Cavill will be taking on the role of Jack Hyde, who is the employer of Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele featured in the second book/film.

Cavill seems to fit with the role he is rumored to play as Jack Hyde was described as "a man with sensual blue eyes that can pierce your heart," taking into consideration the actor's similar eye color and his ability to melt fen girls' hearts everywhere with his intense gaze.

Too bad Cavill won't say anything and it is yet to be revealed who will take on the role of Jack Hyde.
