Big Bang Change Things Up For August 'MADE' Series Release With Return Of Project Duo GD&TOP

As if dominating music charts for three months wasn't enough, Big Bang just announced another reason for K-pop fans to get excited.

The fourth release from Big Bang's month-long "MADE" project will include a song from Big Bang's subunit, GD&TOP. The hip hop duo, comprised of Big Bang members G-Dragon and T.O.P, hasn't released music together since 2010.

GD&TOP's song will be the first song unveiled in the August single "E" from Big Bang.

YG Entertainment confirmed news reports of subunit members G-Dragon and T.O.P filming a music video for the song. The pair are Big Bang's rappers, and collaborated on released three singles and an album in 2010. The album, "GD&TOP" became one of the best selling albums of 2010 in South Korea.

The pair's first song, "HIGH HIGH" marked a departure from Big Bang's quintessential five-member lineup for the first time. Since then, Big Bang introduced as second subgroup, GD X TAEYANG, in 2014, with the song "Good Boy."

The news relating to "E" reveals that Big Bang will change things up for their August release.

Big Bang's "MADE" project began in May, with the release of two singles under the name of "M." The consecutive "A" and "D" releases by Big Bang followed in June and July, and August will see additional releases under the "E" title.

GD&TOP's new song will be released on August 1.
