Henry Cavill Not Part Of 'Fifty Shades Darker;' 'Batman V Superman' Actor Finally Speaks Up

After much hewing and hawing, Henry Cavill finally broke his silence regarding the rumors that he's joining "Fifty Shades Darker."

While guesting at the Magic FM with "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." co-star Armie Hammer, the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor was again asked if the rumors that he will take part in the sequel to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" are true.

Armie Hammer first joked, "He's doing it, he's totally doing it, absolutely doing it, he confided in me earlier, I'm sorry to break your trust..."

Henry Cavill interjected, "It would be a lot of fun to continue this ruse... but I'm not doing it."

But Armie Hammer could not be stopped, "Yet! This is all part of the negotiation. He's going to hold fast, they're going to come back with more money, he's going to say no again..."

Finally, the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor joked, "I'm playing the life story of Jamie Dornan. That's maybe where things got confused."

Actually, if the rumors are true, Henry Cavill would be playing the villain, Jack Hyde, in "Fifty Shades of Darker."

According to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" wikia, Jack Hyde is the commissioning editor at the Seattle Independent Publishing where Anastasia Steele works.

"Like Christian, Jack had a violent history as an adolescent, but was able to overcome adversity: he received a scholarship to Princeton University, graduated with a degree in English Literature, and had a successful career," the website said.

"However, Jack still harbored jealousy and resentment towards the Grey family for adopting Christian instead of him."

"Jack Hyde is described as a man with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart," said Movie News Guide. "[For] the past few months, there have been speculations on who will play the role of Steele's boss who will eventually become more than just an editor."

Just like "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor Henry Cavill, Jack Hyde is 32 years old in "Fifty Shades Darker."
