Arceus And Hoopa Spoilers Revealed In Pokemon Movie 18 'Hoopa & The Clash Of Ages'

The latest Pokemon movie "Hoopa & the Clash of Ages" has arrived in Japan, and some of the mystery surrounding Arceus and Hoopa has been unveiled.

After attending the movie premiere, Gin of Sunyshore uploaded a summary of the movie, with major spoilers regarding the plot. And while we won't dive into every little detail, it does feature an important moment between Hoopa and Arceus.

Towards the end of the movie, Hoopa has to save everyone around a tower by using his rings, but he appears doomed as he cannot pass through his own rings.

"Ash and Barza remain to try to help Hoopa, thinking if it believes in itself, it can make it through," read Gin's summary.

"Hoopa recalls their great grandfather saying something similar, and with enough faith, and a mysterious golden light halting the space rift for a moment, is able to get through with enough time. The tower and surrounding area are destroyed, but everyone is safe, and they look up in time to see Arceus fly away, having helped them."

There certainly is an air of mystery surrounding Arceus in this generation. Previously, it was noted that out of all the Legendary Pokemon appearing in "Hoopa & the Clash of Ages," Arceus was the only one not available in "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire."

However, given that there was a shiny Arceus distribution tied to the launch of the movie, perhaps that is the only special connection between Arceus and Hoopa.

Meanwhile, hints and spoilers have already surfaced regarding next year's Pokemon movie. The trailer for it attached to this year's movie has already introduced two new (or forms of existing) Pokemon.

Reportedly, one Pokemon is described as green with one eye larger than the other, and has a red stomach. It is then quickly followed by the silhouette that was revealed during the latest CoroCoro leaks.
