Prior to the premiere of "Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation," it's been confirmed that K-pop boy band INFINITE will join Tom Cruise for the film's press event in Korea.

According to Soompi, INFINITE will perform at the atrium of Lotte World on July 30, which will likely include their newest single, "Bad."

"Tom Cruise will also be at the event," said a rep from Woollim Entertainment. "INFINITE are excited to meet him and are preparing big and small things."

Anticipation is growing for Tom Cruise's appearance in Korea, who recently affirmed his decision to only commit to sequels for the "Mission: Impossible" series.

"That's why I haven't done any [sequels], is because I really feel that this is what I'm interested in right now," said Cruise to Cinema Blend at a recent premiere event.

"I really feel privileged to be able to have made five of these. Every time I go out, I learn more. To really work on these sequences, you have to work on layer upon layer. It really takes everyone's effort, from all departments. And [right now], I just love that challenge."

One particular challenge that everyone is talking about is a death-defying stunt in the movie, where Cruise has to dangle from the side of an ascending plane.

"When you see the movie, you know he survived because he's been doing press for it and there's been no national mourning," said co-star Simon Pegg to NY Daily News. "But when you're actually on the ground and watching him on the plane, there's a whole other degree of terror because you don't know how it will turn out."

While the 52-year-old actor has completed five "Mission: Impossible" movies, INFINITE is worrying about the same number in what is commonly known as the "five-year curse," where idol groups disband five years after their debut.

"We're still doing okay," said INFINITE's Sunggyu according to allkpop. "It's because everyone still has to fulfill their contracts."
