New Samsung Wireless Monitor Specs And Features: Is It Worth The Purchase?

The new Samsung wireless monitor can do more than just be a television set.

Wireless charging, also known as inductive charging, is one of the most convenient things to have in the current times. Struggling with tangled wires or wires that get worn down from being used too much will soon be a thing of the past when wireless charging takes the lead.

Samsung always made sure that their products work well with one another; this mean cameras, monitors, and mobile phones can be interconnected. However, Samsung has just introduced a new line of monitors that can wirelessly charge a tablet or a mobile smartphone by just placing it on the base.

According to Samsung Tomorrow, the SE370 is the industry's first monitor that comes with an integrated wireless charging function. They are available in 23.6 inches and 27 inches.

Kim Seok-Gi, the Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, gave his thoughts on the newest product. He said, " Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles."

By doing away with the clutter from the wires, consumers will be able to use their devices in a smarter and clutter-free way.

The idea of Samsung's sleek wireless charging monitor is great, but the only flaw is that the phones would have to be supported the Qi wireless charging standard. Examples of phones that have this standard are the Samsung Galaxy S6, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and the LG G3 smartphone, as reported by The Verge.

Apart from the innovative wireless charging in the new line of Samsung monitors, the SE370 also uses AMD FreeSync technology for a smoother frame rate and to also minimize the image lag while playing games.

There aren't any announcements on the prices and the release date of the new monitors from Samsung.
