Girl's Day Plan Japanese Debut In September With Hit Songs 'Something' And ‘Darling’

Girl's Day are scheduled to debut in Japan this September by releasing Japanese editions for 'Something' and 'Darling,' reports The Korea Herald.

There is no exact date yet for the girl group's Japanese debut, but online commenters are reacting positively to the news.

Fans argue that Girl's Day's cute visuals and catchy songs will make them popular in Japan.

"The Japanese men are going to crazy over them," "Girl's Day's best songs are 'Something' and 'Darling'! Find strength in Japan," said fans in support of the group, according to comments translated by Netizenbuzz.

Girl's Day's Japanese debut comes five years after the girl group debuted in South Korea.

Girl's Day have been wrapping up promotions for their new summer single, "Ring My Bell," from their second album, Love.

"Ring My Bell" was able to chart high but has been overshadowed by the comeback song "Party" by powerhouse Girls' Generation.

After their "Ring My Bell" promotions, Girl's Day plan to focus on individual activities and preparations for their Japanese debut.

Their agency, Dream Tea Entertainment, said all four members will be pursuing individual projects in the coming months.

Most notable among their solo activities is member Hyeri's lead role in TvN's Reply 1988 drama, which has stirred up controversy as fans of the beloved series were apprehensive about the idol's acting skills.
