'The Grand Tournament' Is The Exciting Upcoming Expansion of 'Hearthstone'

There is a Hearthstone’s “The Grand Tournament” pre-purchase bundle available.

With Hearthstone’s “The Grand Tournament” debut drawing near, avid players of the game are already getting ready for the battles ahead. The game is the second expansion of Hearthstone.

According to Battle.Net, the new expansion is a heroic gathering where knights from all over come together at “The Grand Tournament” to compete for victory.

The website explained, “ Years ago, the Argent Crusade started the tournament as a way to find champions fit to take on Azeroth’s greatest villains. Now that the Frozen North is less perilous (and a tad bit warmer), the Grand Tournament has a playful side to it.” Instead of a battle to find a champion worthy of a great battle, the tournament has become a competition to show off their skills all in the name of fun.

In the second expansion of the game, as reported by IGN, “The Grand Tournament” will be introducing 132 new cards to the game when it goes live next month. Blizzard has already revealed 24 cards to the public: Totem Golem, Wilfred Fizzlebang, Tuskarr Totemic, Tournament Medic, Thunder Bluff Valiant, Skycap’n Kragg, Silver Hand Regent, Poisoned Blade, North Sea Kraken, Nexus-Champion Saraad, Maiden of the Lake, Lowly Squire, Lock And Load, King’s Defender, Effigy, Holy Champion, Garrison Commander, Frost Giant, Fallen Hero, Flame Juggler, Coliseum Manager, Ball of Spiders, and Coldarra Drake.

There were two more cards revealed the other day making the total revealed cards count 26. The two new cards are the Savage Combatant and the Clockwork Knight cards.

iDigitalTimes reported that Blizzard is already accepting pre-orders for 50-pack booster bundles.

Hearthstone’s “The Grand Tournament” will be released in August.
