CL To Begin Filming Music Videos For 2 U.S. Debut Tracks

Girl group 2NE1's leader and rapper CL will debut in the U.S. soon.

A source from her agency, YG Entertainment, stated that Chaerin "CL" Lee's album is already done and ready for release, she just needs to film her music videos. CL reportedly will film two music videos for the international debut, one in South Korea and one in the United States.

In October 2014, CL signed a management contract with Scooter Braun, who also represents the likes of Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as CL YG label mate and "Gangnam Style" mastermind PSY, and has been preparing for her U.S. debut ever since.

The news of CL-Scooter Braun collaboration received spotlight from many popular foreign media such as Billboard and The Guardian. In June, CL teamed up with  Diplo, RiFF RAFF, and OG Maco for the collaboration track "Doctor Pepper," kickstarting her recognition stateside.

Her U.S. debut album is expected to be released sometime in September.
