'Batman V Superman' Star Henry Cavill Shows Off Buff Form For Men's Health; Actor Admits Pushing Himself Hard

Being Superman is hard, just ask Henry Cavill who is pushing himself so hard to get those rock-hard abs and chiseled chest in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

In the latest issue of Men's Health magazine, Henry Cavill said that there were times he had to work so hard that he vomited.

He said, "I got to a point where I felt really fit where given a choice between the easy way and the hard way, I chose the hard way every time. I got to that point where I know I'm going to puke and then I puke."

But the workout needed to play the popular superhero in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" was a challenged in itself.

"How hard can I actually go?" Henry Cavill wondered. "That to me was the challenge,"

Aside from the workout, the actor also had to watch what he puts on the table while working out. But Gina Carano's ex-boyfriend confessed to sometimes indulging in treats during cheat days,

"I like fish and chips, I like pies, I like Guinness. I see guys stuck in this cycle of eating chicken and broccoli, or so called 'clean eating,'" the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star. "This eventually limits the amount of energy they can give during training."

Henry Cavill added, "Today I might go to Nando's for some chicken and sweet potato, or Wagamama and get a broth. Just be smart: don't eat rubbish."

But "Batman V Superman" star Henry Cavill added that going to the gym is his way of giving back for having the best job in the world.

"I have pride in my work. When I'm old I'm not going to go, 'I'm so glad I cheated myself my entire life, so glad I got away with it,'" the noted conservationist said.

"I want to realize that I have integrity, that every time I told my kids to work hard I believed it myself. That's what really matters."
