"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" Movie News: Milla Jovovich is beginning production on the upcoming finale to "Resident Evil." She will also be starring in the upcoming movie from Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin.

The production of The sixth installment of Paul W.S. Anderson's hit zombie-slaying movie franchise, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will reportedly begin soon.

Milla had to delay production on the series' sixth entry, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, due to pregnancy

Milla Jovovich posted an Instagram photo showing she's back in shape and ready to head off to e South Africa to start shooting the final film in the zombie franchise.

"Well, the moment so many of you have been waiting for is finally here where I can tell you that it's zombie killing season for the Jovovich-Anderson clan!" Jovovich captioned the Instagram photo.

"Here I am getting my face cast made for "resident evil: the final chapter"!! I leave to South Africa tomorrow to start prepping for the movie! #residentevilmovie #ladiary."

Jovovich is in talks to star in an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's short story "In the Lost Lands."

Jovovich will play a mercenary sorceress looking for the secret of lycanthropy.

The new movie is being produced by Myriad, who released this synopsis to the Hollywood Reporter/ Justin Chatwin, who played Jimmy on the first three seasons of "Shameless," was also announced to the cast. "In The Lost Lands" will be directed by German director Constantin Werner, who directed "The Pagan Queen." Werner also wrote the screenplay adaptation. 

 Game of Thrones" fans are still awaiting "Winds of Winter," the next book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. Milla is reportedly in final negotiations to star in "In the Lost Lands."
