Former Girls' Generation Jessica Jung updated her fans with a picture on Weibo, her first since officially parting ways with SM Entertainment earlier this week.

"Miss you guys too! Keep smiling," posted Jessica on her Weibo account on Thursday along with a picture.

In the picture, Jessica is smiling brightly on an empty night street.

On August 6, Jessica and SM Entertainment both announced that they have officially severed their business relationship with one another.

"I decided to end my contract with SM Entertainment and go my own way," said Jessica. "I find the days I spent with SM Entertainment as precious times and I wish SM Entertainment good luck in the days to come."

She continued, "And to my precious fans, I thank you for your continued support and love. I will be trying my best not to disappoint you so please watch as I make a new start."

Last year, Jessica left Girls' Generation to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She has since lauched the brand Blanc & Eclare and is rumored to be considering a solo music career in China.
