It's been ten years since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston officially dissolved their 5-year marriage, but they are still hounded by persistent rumors claiming infidelity was the reason for their split.

Initially, tabloids claimed that the catalyst for the couple's divorce was Pitt's working relationship with current wife Angelina Jolie. The two met on the set of the 2006 movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". Apparently, the two completed more than just a movie once the cameras stopped rolling.

Both Jolie and Pitt attested that there was no truth to this rumor, and that a relationship between them only blossomed when Pitt and Aniston's divorce was finalized.

However, a recent article published by the Daily Mail insinuated that it was Aniston who was unfaithful to then-husband Pitt.

Aniston purportedly cheated on Pitt with erstwhile co-star Matt LeBlanc. Aniston and LeBlanc respectively played Rachel and Joey on the long-running series "Friends".

According to Daily Mail contributor Zoe Nauman, it was LeBlanc's father himself, Paul LeBlanc, who divulged details about the alleged affair.

The older LeBlanc told a tabloid that while his son and Aniston's characters had a steamy affair on the show, it carried on even after the director yelled, "Cut!" The 73-year-old even alleged that the affair happened while Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were still married.

"He...had a relationship with one of the girls...Jen," he claimed. "They would make out in the dressing rooms. He told me about it - it was when she was married to Brad Pitt."

A rep for Aniston have denied this story, and even Aniston herself said in an interview she did several years back that there's no story to her breakup with Pitt.

Hopefully, Aniston's recent marriage to Justin Theroux would finally put an end to what has apparently become a sordid storytelling. According to People, they finally tied the knot in a secret ceremony on Aug. 5 after being engaged for three years.

An insider told Hollywood Life that 51-year-old Pitt has sent his well wishes to his ex-wife when he learned of her recent nuptials.

"Brad is really happy for Jen," the source said. "He still loves her and cares for her and always hoped she would find love again.

"He knows Justin too and thinks he's a great dude," the insider added. "When he fell in love with Angie he felt bad for Jen but he had to follow his heart."

Fans are hoping that the door to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's past could officially close now that both of them are happily married to their respective spouses.
