"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley's character has definitely moved on from Elena. Previous CW spoilers confirmed that Stefan is now determined to win Caroline's heart.

Recently, the 33-year-old actor was photographed leaving Los Angeles. He's heading back to Atlanta for the filming of the show's seventh season.

Executive producer Julie Plec told TVLine that fans will be surprised with Steroline this coming season saying, "I would say Stefan and Caroline are part of one of the bigger surprises of the season, which we'll unfold around Episode 6 or 7. It's a bit of a fun curveball to throw their way."

Fans are now left wondering about the "curveball." Is it possible that Caroline will get pregnant this season?

At the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, Julie Plec asked the show's cast members, "What are you looking forward to as far as the growth for your character?"

Candice Accola responded, "I think Caroline's going to grow significantly throughout this year in many ways - spiritually [and] physically."

However, it appears impossible for "The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley's character to father a child with Caroline because vampires couldn't reproduce. While Klaus and Hayley were able to do so on "The Originals," it must be remembered that Hayley was a werewolf at that time.

Apart from the angle of being pregnant, some fans are likewise wondering if Candice Accola will sing again in the upcoming season. After all, it isn't a secret anymore that she has a beautiful voice when she dedicated a song to her mother's funeral.

At the same event, Candice Accola talked about her singing experience, "I was completely terrified. Had to dust some cobwebs off the pipes, but it was pretty fun."

"The Vampire Diaries" returns on October 8 on the CW.
