Madonna is not only the Queen of Pop but also of reinvention and controversial acts on stage. In her upcoming "Rebel Heart Tour," she promises to shock and awe again with her performances.

As shared on her Youtube page, two teasers gave a first look on the performances that can be expected from her upcoming shows. One segment will apparently feature nuns performing on a pole while another shows a woman inside a cage as the rest of the performers dance around her holding wooden crosses.

In a report on Entertainment Weekly, she explained that for her, sex and religion always go together.

"I just like the juxtaposition," she pointed out. "I'm very immersed in deconstructing the concept of sexuality and religion and how it's not supposed to go together, but in my world it goes together."

Although Madonna is planning a whole range of surprises for her "Rebel Heart Tour," she also revealed to EW that her show won't be short of her old, classic songs that fans could not get enough of.

"Of course, the thing I'm most excited about doing is my new stuff, because I haven't done it yet and it's fresh," she shared about her setlist. "But I realize that people want to hear my older stuff, so for me it's always a tricky balance trying to keep some kind of continuity, not only with sound, sonically, but also thematically."

"A lot of times I have to take the songs and turn them inside out and make them more ironic than straightforward," she added.

The Queen of Pop also said her performances won't be a family affair on stage just yet.

"I think he's probably gonna work behind the scenes," she exclaimed about teenage son, Rocco. "He's not interested in performing on stage with me right now. There's way cooler things. Your mom is not that cool when you're 14."

Madonna's "Rebel Heart Tour" will kick off on Sept. nine in Montreal, Canada, which was already sold out. She will also perform on the rest of North America, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. Watch the teasers for the tour below.
