Supernova Member Sungmo's Debut Japanese Album Ranks 3rd On Oricon Weekly Chart

Supernova member Sungmo's solo album ranked third on Japan's Oricon Chart.

"According to Oricon Style, Sungmo's Japan debut album, 'Tiramisu Love', was released on August 4," read a statement from Supernova's agency posted Thursday to the Korean news website Naver. "It took the number three spot on the Oricon Weekly chart in just one week."

It is the first time in a year - since Taeyang's solo album, "Rise" - that a foreign solo artist has ranked in the Top 3 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

He not only ranked in the top three on the Oricon chart but also on the Tower Record Comprehensive Weekly Ranking Chart as well.

Fans were seen standing in line at the Nagoya Tower Records store to purchase the album as well.

Supernova will be releasing their new seventh album, "7IRO" on September 9 and begin Japanese promotions.
