EXO's Chen To Perform Solo For 1st Time At 2015 Korean Grand Festival

For the first time, EXO's Chen is going to perform solo on stage without the other members of his group.

Chen (Kim Jong Dae), the main vocalist for EXO-M, the group's Mandarin-singing sub-unit, will hit the stage for the first time as a soloist at the Korean Grand Festival, according to a recent statement by SM Entertainment.

The Korean Grand Festival will be held on Friday, Sept. 4 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. Girls' Generation, Block B, BEAST, EXID, and CNBLUE are also all scheduled to perform at the event.

In terms of solo projects, Chen previously impressed audiences with "Best Luck," a song for the original soundtrack to the SBS TV drama It's Okay, That's Love. The song received the So-Loved Award for Best OST by a Male Artist and also took home a Seoul International Youth Film Festival award for Best OST Song.

The EXO member also sang a duet with SM Entertainment label mate and f(x) member Krystal Jung, for "When I Was, When U Were."
