Girl's Day Get Twisted In A Panty Flashing Controversy

Are the Girl's Day members intentionally showing their panties to the public?

That question has sparked an online controversy following claims by detractors that the four female members are flashing their panties on purpose, although defenders insist that the girls cannot be blamed for the accidental exposures.

The issue has only been heating up with the appearance of videos that allegedly provide proof of Girl's Day's titillating panty-revealing habit.

Girl's Day have increasingly become a target for controversies, which is no surprise given their skyrocketing popularity as a girl group.

In February, Girl's Day soared in the Sports Chosun popularity rankings of girl groups to just shy of the Unbreakable Wall tier inhabited by 2NE1, Girls' Generation and SISTAR. They have managed to capture nationwide attention and fan following by churning out successive hits like "Expectation," "Darling" and "Something."

But Girl's Day are having a rough couple of months with back-to-back controversies hitting them, and potentially threatening to put a smudge on their soaring girl group status.

Prior to current panty-flashing controversy, Girl's Day were also embroiled in the so-called dumpling controversy. The girls appeared as guests on the AfreecaTV internet program Koon TV where they were served dumplings and appeared to be displeased at the plate of food, before fighting over the dumplings.

Some viewers who saw the program complained that Girl's Day seemed to have an attitude problem, but the host of the show came to defend the group, saying it was his whole idea to show the dumpling bickering.
