INFINITE's L is taking the next steps into his acting career!

On August 18, Newsen announced that the boy group member has been cast in his first film. According to multiple entertainment officials, L will starring in a film under the working title of Mr. Shark. The films focus is to send a message about how precious and important nature is.

In the film, L will play the role of a boy who shares a special bond with sharks. Korea Herald even revealed that L has been taking scuba diving lessons in order to prepare for the role.

Although Mr. Shark is L's first movie appearance he already has an impressive list of small screen roles under his belt. L is well known for his appearances in the television dramas Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Cunning Single Lady, Master's Sun and most recently The Time We Were Not in Love.

Filming for Mr. Shark is slated to begin this upcoming Monday, August 24.

Meanwhile, in addition to acting, L has recently been busy with promotions for his group INFINITE's latest mini album Reality. The group's current title track "Bad" had topped local charts and earned the group many awards on domestic music programs.

Additionally, INFINITE kicked off their second world tour "INFINITE EFFECT" at Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium on August 8 and 9.
