JYJ's Yoochun Reflects On Approaching Military Enlistment During Marie Claire Interview And Pictorial

Before enlisting in the military on August 27, JYJ's Yoochun starred in an elegant pictorial for the September issue of Marie Claire. The star modeled refined suits, knitted cardigans, black slacks and shiny dress shoes by Paul Smith, Kim Seoryong Homme, and Dolce & Gabbana, to name a few brands.

Among his designer pieces there was Gucci's camel hair ribbed turtleneck sweater. The article has a warm mustard color, can be yours HERE and can be seen below in greater detail.

During the interview, Yoochun revealed he has a relaxed attitude toward his upcoming mandatory career break.

"It's like I have a long overtime match ahead of me after the second half." He said. "I have no fear though, since I believe the two year break will lead to something better."

The handsome singer-actor also recalled his recent fan meeting in Japan, which ended in tears for both the audience and himself.

"I didn't cry because I am going to join the army," he explained. "The times I was active in Japan for more than ten years on that particular day rose up [in my mind] and I was overcome with emotions. I had thoughts of being taken aback and was thankful when I saw the event prepared by the fans, but only the fans looked beautiful at the time. So I was feeling weepy."

On a less serious note, the star also admitted that he has a rather hyperactive agenda when drunk.

"I talk a lot if I am struck by something," he said. "I point out the mistake if there is a person who was wronged by someone and I try to fix something bad between two people if the two don't get along."
