CNBLUE Announce September Disco-Rock Comeback

CNBLUE fans have something to look forward to this September.

On August 24, News1 revealed that the Korean rock group is expected to have their next comeback in September. Industry officials shared with News1 that the group is in the final stages of album recording. The title track they decided on is also said to be composed by vocalist and guitarist Jung Yong Hwa and will have a chic disco-rock feel.

This will be CNBLUE's first group comeback since "Can't Stop," released in February 2014. Since then the individual members have been busy pursuing their own activities. Yong Hwa released his first solo album, titled One Fine Day, and played a solo tour across Asia. Guitarist Lee Jong Hyun made multiple television appearances, starring in KBS2's Orange Marmalade and most recently appearing in MBC's We Got Married alongside television wife Gong Seung Yeon. Bassist Lee Jung Shin starred in the KBS special drama Thank You, Son and drummer Kang Min Hyuk appeared regularly on MBS's I Live Alone and and KBS2's Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education.

Though the men of CNBLUE have been appearing all over the place, fans are still ecstatic to see them coming together for another group comeback. Many are especially excited to see Yong Hwa in charge of composing. "Jung Yong Hwa's quite good at writing songs! Looking forward to it!" one Korean user commented, as translated by Netizenbuzz.

"CNBLUE's best songs are the ones composed by Jung Yong Hwa," another shared.

Stay tuned for more information about CNBLUE's comeback soon.
