Rapper and TV star Kang Gary is going to release a new album in September.

Gary's management agency, LeeSsang Company, revealed on Monday, Aug. 24 that the LeeSsang rapper and "Running Man" cast member is going to be releasing a new solo album on Sept. 21.

The star, who is known for his unique rap flow, released his first individual EP Mr. Gae in January 2014.

Due to the sexually suggestive lyrics, the title track, "Shower Later," was deemed inappropriate and was banned from broadcast on the three major South Korean TV networks (SBS, MBC, and KBS). Despite the broadcasting red tape, the single topped eight real-time music charts in South Korea upon release.

Gary is the rapper and lyricist for hip-hop duo LeeSsang along with singer Gil (Gil Seong Joon). The pair have released eight studio albums since their debut in 2002.
