'Legend Of Korra' Set For DVD And Blu-Ray Announced, Cover Art Is Amazing Enough To Give Fans Chills

The “Legend Of Korra” DVD Set gets revealed.

The series ended just last year and fans just can’t get enough of “Legend of Korra.” As bitter as fans were that their favorite animated series was ending, there was just nothing they could do about it.

On Screencrush, it was reported that Comic Con 2015 gave hope to restless fans when the announcement of a sequel graphic novel was made. News of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” getting a complete DVD set satisfied fans for the meantime. However, there was still a demand and hope for “Legend Of Korra” to get a DVD set.

According to IGN, series co-creator Bryan Konietzko revealed that there would be complete series of “The Legend of Korra” on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Those who are unfamiliar with the series should be able to recognize the world of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” as “ The Legend of Korra” is the sequel. It is still set in a fictional universe where people have the ability to manipulate or bend the elements of earth, fire, water or air. Each person can only control one of the elements, while the “Avatar” is able to manipulate all four. Korra is an Avatar and the reincarnation of Aang from the original series.

If the news of the complete series on DVD wasn’t enough, even the set’s official cover art was revealed via Konietzko’s Tumblr. The cover art is epic and shows Korra dressed in her blue garb while she is in the middle of bending.

There is no release date or further details yet on the anticipated DVD set.
