In the comics, Superman both romanced Lois Lane and Wonder Woman but what does Henry Cavill prefers for the Man of Steel?

The "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star talked to Cosmopolitan where he weighed in on the age-old question about Superman's lady love.

​Henry Cavill said, "This is a very long discussion because there are a lot of questions to be asked and answered. I mean who is better for a super-powered alien, a human or a goddess?"

"Yes, the goddess can do all the normal things, which we would think are normal in a relationship, and not have any fear of Superman," Henry Cavill added.

"But you also need to have that baseline of humanity, which Lois provides. And literally keeps his feet on the ground, keeps him down to earth. So that's more of a debate than an answer."

On Wonder Woman being Superman's equal, Henry Cavill said, "Strong women are nothing new for the comic book world. I'm glad they are being represented a bit more in film and on TV. Wonder Woman has been around forever, she is an incredibly strong character. She can go toe-to-toe with Superman sometimes.​"

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" in summer of 2016, while "Suicide Squad" is scheduled to air in the fall of the same year; but will Henry Cavill make an appearance in the movie?

Filming for "Suicide Squad" is almost finished so it's unlikely that Superman would make a cameo. The sequel, however, is a different story.

Henry Cavill himself didn't thumb down the idea when he was asked by Metro if Superman would appear in the "Suicide Squad" sequel and he said, "I might be!"

Henry Cavill will also reprise his role as Superman in the standalone film, "Man of Steel 2," which will be helmed by George Miller.
