Tablo Announces New Solo Album In Tweet To Fan

Epik High's Tablo is leaving fans in confusion with recent hints at a new solo album!

On August 25, a fan tweeted at Tablo demanding another album for the artist. "Give me another solo album, dude," the fan left on Tablo's official Twitter account. Luckily for the fan, Tablo replied back saying, "I'll give you one in 2016."

Fan anticipation for the new album is high, even though Tablo's tease was only one single tweet. According to Soompi, Tablo is also seems to be working on another Epik High album as well. Tablo's last solo album, Fever's End, was released in 2011 in two parts and featured artists like Bumkey and Big Bang's Taeyang. Since then Tablo has released two incredibly successful albums, 99 and Showbox, with his group Epik High.

Most recently, Epik High opened up their new label HIGHGRND (pronounced "High Ground") with the label's goal to make hip-hop mainstream in South Korea. Tablo, himself, was chosen to head the new label as well. Recent breakout indie group Hyukoh was announced as HIGHGRND's first act, followed by the news that YG Entertainment's own solo artist Lee Hi will be working under the subsidiary label for her upcoming new album.

Although Tablo seems incredibly busy, fans are hoping that the teasing at a solo album comes true in the next year.
