Eugenie Bouchard Likes ‘Charismatic’ Nick Kyrgios, Aussie Player Faces Andy Murray At US Open 2015

Nick Kyrgios has been making enemies wherever he goes, it looks like he has also garnered some supporters along the way. A fellow tennis player Eugenie Bouchard seems to have taken a big liking to the tennis’ bad boy Nick Kyrgios just prior to the US Open 2015.

According to News.com.au, Eugenie Bouchard may even have light crush on the Aussie phenom.

She said, “He’s a great up and coming player and really interesting and at the end of the day he’s good for the game and I think he brings something different. He’s energetic and charismatic and that’s a really unique thing that we don’t have so much on the tour so I think we need people like him on the tour.”

Like Eugenie Bouchard, Nick Kyrgios is looking towards US Open 2015 as a game-changing moment. With Lleyton Hewitt as his coach for US Open this year, Nick Kyrgios is planning on climbing the rankings, as well as improve his reputation on APT tour.

Nick Kyrgios has been challenging the idea that tennis is a gentleman’s game by bringing in more than enough drama. Most recently, according to News.com.au, the Aussie player has been pitting his fellow players against him “when he told Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka that fellow Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis “banged” his girlfriend, referring to Croatian tennis player Donna Vekic.”

Let’s hope that his new coach Lleyton Hewitt will tame and improve his game. “Lleyton Hewitt has agreed to take Nick Kyrgios under his wing in a mentoring and coaching role before the US Open, his mother Nill hoping his guidance will help her son who "wasn't in a good head space" after his Davis Cup meltdown.”

Nick Kyrgios may be starting to get more mature when he and Eugenie teams up for mixed doubles at this year’s US Open.
