BEAST, 4Minute And Other CUBE Entertainment Acts Head To China This Month For Charity Concert Series

Cube Entertainment is looking to gain more Chinese fans by announcing a star-studded concert series beginning in the city of Shanghai, reports The Korea Herald.

Cube's Shanghai concert will feature the label's most popular acts such as Beast, 4Minute, BTOB, G.NA and CLC.

The concert series will be titled BesTV Channel-M Cube Festival, will be held on September 30 at the Shanghai Indoor Stadium.

It is reported that part of the concert proceeds will be donated to the victims of the recent Tianjin blast accident.

The Chinese concert seems to confirm previous rumors that CUBE was eyeing the lucrative Chinese market, which other big South Korean labels have been targeting in recent years.

When CUBE Entertainment went public in April, there was talk that the label would be partnering with Chinese companies as part of its strategy to expand into China.

True enough, CUBE Entertainment has tapped on local entertainment agency Butterfly Media to help organize the Shanghai concert.

"When we were preparing for the concert, we heard about the news. All the participants decided to console the victims and their families," said the Butterfly Media in a statement regarding the concert charity donation.

The concert is expected to draw in a lot of Chinese fans as it will be held in the Shanghai Indoor Stadium, the same venue that YG Entertainment used for a couple of its recent concerts, including 2NE1's AON: All Or Nothing World Tour in April 2014 and WINNER's Worldwide Inner Circle Conference: WWIC 2015 last January.
