'Beauty And The Beast' Star Emma Watson Makes Fashion Revolution; Shares Points On Instagram

After making strides in her campaign to promote gender equality, "Beauty and the Beast" star Emma Watson is now trying to make her imprint on the fashion industry as she supported the Green Carpet Challenge.

A week ago, Emma Watson shared an Instagram post by stylist Sarah Slutsky where she wrote, "Kicking off Regression! We (heart mejoi)️ our rail!"

"Inspired to consider the whole process of creating a fashion look, we are thinking about all the people, pieces and moving parts! This rack includes designers that are considering local craft and production, artisan skills, the environment, sustainability and the longevity of fashion!" the stylist added.

The campaign aims to support fashion designers or artisans who are only using raw materials or products that are friendly to the environment.

Later on, the "Beauty and the Beast"star "regrammed" a fashion photo taken by Sarah Slutsky of Emma Watson wearing Ralph Lauren.

The stylist wrote in the caption, "First day of Regression press off to an incredible start. Obsessed with this @ralphlauren look made only better by the company's long standing commitment to not use fur products."

"Jewels by @cartier who is committed to responsible and sustainable business principles and practices in both the supply chain and their own business,

"Shoes by @paulandrew are all handmade in Italy by artisans who have been making shoes for decades-- some for generations," the caption read.

The Telegraph pointed out the conscious fashion decision by "Beauty and the Beast" star Emma Watson to only use sustainable products, and also support labels that are environmentally conscious.

"She's already designed a line with ethical label People Tree, covered Net-a-Porter's The Edit online magazine modelling sustainable designs by Christopher kane, Victoria Beckham and Erdem among others, and yesterday posted a pic (88.4k likes and counting) asking the question, 'Who pays the price for our clothing?' before urging her following to watch True Cost," the article said.
