Although they competed opposite each other as Team A and Team B, the boy bands now known as WINNER and iKON will seemingly join hands in collaboration on an upcoming project.

On Friday, YG Entertainment's official blog YG-Life revealed a promo photo stylized as a movie poster featuring the 12 members of iKON and WINNER. The title "Dimension" is featured near the top, along with a premiere date for this film project on Sept. 7.

"Fans will be able to witness how iKON—who is expecting their debut—and WINNER—who will release a new album after their successful debut last year—will come back to [them] in the project film 'Dimension,'" read the blog entry.

Last month, it was reported by iKON will make their official debut on Sept. 15 to avoid overlapping with Big Bang's promotional activities. However, since Big Bang has chosen to postpone their Sept. 1 release, it is unclear whether this collaborative film project will be related to the boy band's debut, when it arrives.

“iKON will be releasing their debut song on Sept. 15 and putting forth their first official step into the music industry," said YG found Yang Hyun Suk according to allkpop.

"In a period of time that was not short, iKON had a lot of songs up as candidates for their debut track and diligently did their work. As they are aware of the huge interest in iKON, they themselves devoted heart and soul into the completion of their debut song."

Yang also set forth a formidable goal for the group.

"iKON's goal for the end of the year is the Rookie Award," continued Yang. "It'll be nice if after WINNER last year [who won the Rookie Award], iKON will earn the Rookie Award for their debut song [this year]."
