Fans Rave Over Adam Lambert's Birmingham Performance As Tour With Queen Resumes This Month

Adam Lambert gave Birmingham a taste of what fans can expect when his tour with the Queen resumes in Rio this month.

The "American Idol" alum performed before a huge crowd for a little less than an hour, but the audience couldn't get enough as they chanted for more, reported UK's Reveal magazine.

"Adam performed fan favourites including 'Another Lonely Night' and 'Whataya Want from Me', and he showcased his phenomenally flawless vocals and incredible range as he worked all areas of the stage," it said.

Meanwhile, Music-News reported that Adam Lambert is set to go back on tour with Queen for a performance at Rock in Rio this month. The band will also perform in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo in Brazil, as well as in Beunos Aires, Santiago and Cordoba in Chile, and Argentina.

"Thirty years after their historic and record breaking opening night performance at the very first Rock in Rio festival in January 1985, Queen are to return to top the bill for the opening of this year's 30th Anniversary festival," it said.

Adam Lambert took a break from performing with Queen to work on his solo album, "The Original High."

Previously, Brian May was all praises for Adam Lambert who took the huge task of taking over the reins from the legendary Freddie Mercury to front for Queen for a series of sold-out concerts.

"Adam has really transformed, I must say," he told Muzyka per Unreality TV. "And, he shares that with Freddie."

"Freddie was always good, but he transformed himself from a singer who could do this or this into this really sort of god-like performer. Adam is the same. He's really evolved, hugely," Brian May added.

"He's much more comfortable in his shoes. He's much more confident with an audience. In fact, it is like he was born to it. He's grown into the part."
