Former Wonder Girls Member Sunye Announces 2nd Pregnancy

One Wonder Girl is preparing to welcome her second child.

Min Sun Ye (Sunye,) the former leader of JYP Entertainment's girl group Wonder Girls, is reportedly pregnant with her child, according to the K-Pop Herald. Sunye was active as the leader of Wonder Girls since the group debuted in 2007 until she withdrew in 2015 to focus on her family.

This will be Sunye's second child. She gave birth to Park Eun Yoo (Hailey) on Oct. 16, 2013.

Sunye became one of the first second-generation K-pop idols to get married. She married James Park on Jan. 26, 2013. The pair have spent much of their married life doing missionary work in Haiti.

Since departing from Wonder Girls, Sunye has shown her relationship with the newly reformed quintet and congratulated the group on their recent "Reboot" album.

Following the departure of Sunye and Ahn Sohee from Wonder Girls this year, JYP Entertainment reformulated Wonder Girls' line-up, announcing the return of ex-member Lee Sunmi. Lee had previously left Wonder Girls in 2010 to focus on her studies and a solo career.

As a member of Wonder Girls, Sunye was not only the leader but also one of Wonder Girls' main vocalists. She was also known for being one of JYP Entertainment's longest training idols; she was discovered by JYP Entertainment in 2001 and trained until her debut as Wonder Girls' leader.

Congratulations to the happy family!
