Rockstar Games has announced new features for Grand Theft Auto 5 that fans will be able to reap from the upcoming Freemode Events.

"With countless variations on each Freemode Event, there are tons of unique new experiences, each offering new opportunities for reaping GTA$ and RP in GTA Online," Rockstar wrote in a statement, according to Express

"The Freemode Events Update also brings the Rockstar Editor to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with new features (also being added for current PC users as well) such as an ambient audio and sound effects library, Snapmatic integration, Director Mode updates and more."

The Freemode Events will be held next week.

Earlier this month, Rockstar Games announced new gameplay options for GTA 5 Online, including new mod menu options and job cheats.

Jobs such as the "Cult of Cash" and "Going With The Downflow" will be included for PC versions of the title. "Altruist Camp Offensive" and ""San Chianski Race" will be made available for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The Epsilon Program, a new mission created by users, will be made available for the Playstation 3 and its successor console, the Playstation 4.

The production company also confirmed that the upcoming GTA 5 Online update for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One will include Rockstar Editor, previously exclusive to PC versions of the game.

The added feature will allow next-generation console gamers to take advantage of gameplay mods for characters, vehicles and other components of the title. The company announced the update in a blog post announcing the winners of the Ill Gotten Gains Editor Contest.
