EXO's Baekhyun has been revealed to MC MBC's Chuseok variety program The Gifted.

On September 11, SM Entertainment representatives announced Baekhyun's inclusion to the special program. In addition to Baekhyun, comedian and radio host Kim Gu Ra and television comedian Yoo Sae Yoon have also been confirmed to MC according to Star News. Many are excited to see how Baekhyun meshes with these veteran MCs.

The Gifted is described as a program that seeks out people who are very knowledgeable in certain and specific fields. Star News explains the program as tapping into "nerd culture."

The show's participants will be assessed on their special abilities by professionals and enthusiasts, who could also be described as "nerds" in their chosen fields. The Gifted also seeks to create a new nerd culture where people can share their interests openly. It is expected to pique viewers' intellectual curiosity.

However, this is not Baekhyun's first time taking up the role of MC. In 2014, Baekhyun hosted the weekly music program Inkigayo alongside fellow EXO member Suho, ZE:A's Kwanghee, and actress Le Yu Bi. Since then he has proved himself as a musical actor, a movie actor, and of course a singer through various solo and group work.

The Gifted will air during the Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) holiday this upcoming fall.
