On Sunday, Daesung opened his first solo concert to an audience of about 12,000 ecstatic fans.

With the songs of his recently released album 'D'scover' as the central pieces, Daesung sang a total of 21 songs, showing off his lively and energetic dance moves on a stage set against a blue and white background.

The main media outlets such as Japanese music site, Oricon, also covered Daesung's solo performance. Oricon reported, "Through his concert, Daesung has had a wonderful exchange with his fans, and in turn he has left them with a refreshing and vibrant energy."

Last Wednesday, after its release in Japan, 'D'scover' reached number four on Oricon's daily album ranking chart. The next day, after reaching a record 10,876 in sales, the album climbed to number two.

'D'scover' includes two solo titles and 10 J-pop cover songs which Daesung personally chose with a total of 12 songs recorded in Japanese.

The songs on 'D'scover' have been carefully selected as those that have enjoyed long-standing popularity and love in Japan. With Daesung's unique vocals, these classic songs will find new expression in the album. Four big producers have participated in the making of this album including Kameda Seiji, a member of the famous Japanese band Tokyo Jihen, singer-songwriter Matsuo Kiyoshi, Sasaji Masanori, and m-flo's 'Verbal'.
