Luke Hemmings revealed what his ideal girlfriend may be like to get some hype for the 5 Seconds of Summer new album release. That’s definitely one way to get his fans talking!

According to Unreality TV, the 5SOS band leader said that she has to be friends with all his mates. He said, “[She would have to be] someone that likes the band. I mean, that’s hard to find; someone that likes these three dudes. There’s not many people that do.”

Calum Hood basically agreed and tacked on, “You’ve got to try and find someone that can put up with the rest of the band really…”

In fact, both of them may be knee-deep in looking for a new girl to live. According to Ventura Capital Post, “Luke Hemmings alongside his band mate Michael Clifford are reportedly hunting down girls to be their girlfriends. On the other hand, 5 Seconds of Summer admitted in an interview that the band will show off a more "experienced" album.”

Seeing how this is all in light of “Sounds Good Feels Good”, their upcoming new album, it makes the fans think that Luke Hemmings is on a lookout for a new girlfriend.

Michael Clifford has also joined the game! According to Sugarscape, he explained that they expressed lots of emotions in the new album, which is such an exciting news for all the 5 Seconds of Summer fans.

He said, “We explore loads of different topics. It varies between songs. There are still songs about love and stuff that we wrote about on the last album, but it really goes into loneliness.”

Luke Hemmings agreed and added, “With the second album, though, we’ve toured the world for a few years and we’ve done some stuff. We’re older now and we’ve been through more. On the second album I think that really comes across. It’s much more personal.”

Although it’s not totally clear what “some stuff” alludes to, the fans are guessing that some of that stuff must be about girlfriend drama.

Luke Hemmings is ending the summer sans girlfriend drama, leading 5 Seconds of Summer lads into Billboards top 100. Seeing how his drummer Ashton Irwin just revealed that he has a girlfriend, this may be a prime time for the 5SOS lead singer to get dating.
