Jessi Gets Fierce In Music Video For 'SSENUNNI'

At midnight on the 15th, Jessi released her single and music video for 'SSENUNNI' through YMCent's official YouTube page.

The song's title, SSENUNNI, means "Strong Unni" in Korean. Unnie is what girls call older females they are close to.

The track features a hot hip-hop/club beat with Jessi's vocals blending well in the verses and chorus. She first performed the song at a solo showcase in Hongdae, Seoul on September 15th.

This is Jessi's first song release after the finale of MNet's "Unpretty Rapstar," a spin-off of the popular Korean TV show "Show Me The Money". She was also recently featured in JYP's recent music video, "Who's Your Mama," and is currently on "Real Man Female Soldier Special," a reality program in which celebrities join the military.

Her previous single, "I Want To Be Me", was released earlier this year and peaked at #31 on Korean charts. She debuted in 2005 with her album Get Up and is part of the 3-member hip-hop idol group Lucky J, which debuted on July 2014 with the single "Can You Hear Me.
