"The Voice" season 9 may already have its set of coaches for this year. Given the chance to add another one to the group, the current coaches had some great and also odd choices. Christian Aguilera fans though are hoping for her return.

As reported by TV Line, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani were asked for a show promo to share their "dream pick" for another coach to join them.

"I would have to say, just because I'm a fan of their work -- Kate Upton," Shelton revealed in jest.

"I would actually want Kate to sit right next to me because musically, I would be interested in hearing her ideas," he added as quoted by Gossip Cop. "I feel like I could learn from her."

Williams though had an odd choice picking Kermit the Frog or Krusty the Clown.

But Stefani and Levine opted for one of the greats - Bette Midler.

"I want that chair to go to Bette Midler," Levine insisted as cited by ABC News Radio Online. "Because she looks like the kind of lady that doesn't take s**t and I like that."

"Or Barbra Streisand because that is an artist that can do everything," Stefani added.

Last season coach Christina Aguilera's fans though are hoping she gets the "The Voice" season 9 fifth coach chair if ever it does happen as they commented on the official page of the show on Facebook. But as reported by Us Weekly last June, Christina Aguilera will take a break this season and come back next year.

But there were some guessing that Rihanna might be the additional coach after all. There were others who hoped for a Shakira or Usher return. Some wanted to bring in the likes of Justin Timberlake and Adele as others insisted that four coaches were enough.

It was not clear if there are indeed plans to add another coach to the show. But fans think the promo video was just made for fun as the new season nears.
