SHINee 'Dream Girl' Original Producer Posts Video about Plagiarism Issue

SHINee's new title song, "Dream Girl" has been gaining attention for the plagiarism rumors going around. The original producer of the song stated that this song is 100% new and not plagiarized.

Today, producer Shin Hyuk posted a video online of him explaining why this video is not plagiarized.

He started off by saying, "The song 'Dream Girl' is gaining much attention for the plagiarism rumors surrounding it. When I first heard Luis Miguel's song, I was shocked. I could understand why some people would think that it was plagiarized."

He continued, "The first thing you should know is that in the case of SHINee, they are known for starting off with a minor chord and gradually increasing to a major chord. This sign is done the same way as well. When they sing the 'dream girl' part, it sounds much louder and gives the feel of a solo part."

He then also played the chords on the piano to give a even more thorough explanation of the chords. He also explained that Luis Miguel used similar chords to the song, but not the exact same ones.

He lastly stated that the only similarities with the song was the part where they yell 'dream girl'.

Recently, news of SHINee's "Dream Girl" plagiarizing Luis Miguel's "Vuelvo" had gained much attention.
