EXO's Lay Breaks Records With Pre-Order Sales For Upcoming Autobiography

EXO's Lay impresses with record breaking sales for his upcoming book.

On September 18 at noon CST Lay's upcoming book "Standing Firm At 24″ became available for preorder. According to TV Report, in the 24 minutes it was available the book sold an impressive 68,573 copies. The pre-order was noted to have sold an average of 50 copies per second, breaking online book order records.

"Standing Firm At 24″ is referred to as an autobiographical photo book. In the book, Lay (real name Zhang Yixing) shares his thoughts about starting his career in a foreign country. He also gets very personal with his fans, discussing the deep anxiety he felt through performing. Furthermore, he talks about working with his fellow members in EXO and his feelings on the group.

Pictures of Lay will be included throughout the work. "Standing Firm At 24″ will be available in October.

Meanwhile, Lay has been busy with both individual and group activities. He recently landed his first TV acting debut in To Be a Better Man. He also has been making fans simultaneously laugh and cry with all his work on Chinese variety shows.

When he's not working solo, Lay has actively been a part of EXO's concert tour series "EXO'luXion" which has been touring over different parts of China and Korea. In November, EXO will also make their highly anticipated Japanese debut.
