f(x)'s Amber Liu revealed a special gift to her fans in honor of her birthday on September 18.

"Since you always take care of me on my birthday and give so much love, this year I'll be the one to give you the present," Amber wrote on f(x)'s official fan page, translated by Soompi. "'Beautiful' from my solo album received a lot of love, so my team and I made a video." Included with her post was the new music video, uploading through SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel.

In the video, Amber's casual, confident, and comfortable aesthetic shines through as she sings in a room. Surrounding her are a collection of photos from her childhood including cute and silly pictures of her with her family members. While she's singing Amber smiles and laughs energetically, drawing views in to her natural charisma. The video also contains segments of Amber moving through nature interspersed throughout the video. At the end, over a photo of young Amber with long hair, is the message "You are beautiful no matter how different you are."

In February 2015, ahead of her solo album's official release, Amber revealed a lyric video for "Beautiful." The song received all kinds of attention for its supportive and sweet messages. Additionally, Amber participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of "Beautiful" as well.

At the end of her birthday message Amber left, "We're still in preparation for a lot of things going forward so please anticipate. Thank you always!" With news of f(x) filming their upcoming comeback music video, excitement for the girl group's return is running high amongst fans.
